These are the hats they put on my newborn babies!
They fill them out a bit differently, now! :)

Big Two Year Old!

It seems Cooper grew up over spring break! He grew an inch in 24 days, has moved up diaper size, and his 2T clothes are finally fitting! He started speaking almost sentences as well! My favorite, is "What happened, Mommy?" He is nothing but boy, making crazy voices and noises, yelling and screaming A LOT, and jumping and climbing on/off of everything! He copies his big sister ALL THE TIME, and is pretty good at pushing her buttons! He is easily distracted by big trucks, lawn mowers, and planes - especially if I'm trying to talk to him. Man are boys different when it comes to listening!!! He keeps us all entertained and we're loving life with him!!

Super Cooper!

Random March Fun

A post a day.... will still not get me caught up....
But, I'll try.

Monkey See, Monkey Do? I wish!
Everyone wears a pony!
Cooper went through a spell where he was inconsolable after naps. I would finally put him in his chair and tell him to come out when he was done screaming. For a few days, he would fall asleep in the chair!
And then Grace wanted her picture taken too. :)
We were so excited for the wedding, we tried on our clothes and the kids had their bags packed and in the kitchen for the "hotel" a week early!

Ahhh, St. Patrick's Day fun!

Craig and Jean's Wedding

The Happy Couple through Grace's lens.
Killing some time between the ceremony and reception.

Mom's work of art!

They've been working on their dip!!
8 of the great grand kids! Sam arrived just two weeks later and another is due in October! Wohoo, 10!! (And number 10 will make us an aunt, uncle, and cousins!!! Super excited for another Mini Cooper!!!)

We discovered the joy of the "travel box" this trip. They were perfect desks and storage for all the cool stuff I had bought to keep them entertained. Grace made NUMEROUS pictures for us all the way there, around, and back!! What a difference six months makes.

At the reception my battery died and with the low lighting, I was not getting much. Here are some moments Mom captured on her camera.

Cooper was delirious by this point, but the photographer caught a few smiles!
We danced the night away!

Return to CCEC

We headed back to Columbus for a family wedding, and were thrilled to have a chance to visit CCEC where Margaret had been. It was very emotional but good to see everyone there. They have named the church on their garden, model train after her! The Drake Baptist Church! She would be so proud to have a church in her name! :) And we're so proud to have her honored in this way.

The rain let up just enough for us to be outside for a short dedication ceremony. Several of the people who worked closely with Margaret were there and said wonderful things. Some of the residents also watched from inside.

In this picture, the kids looked thrilled, and Tim and I had been crying, but it's proof we were there. We needed to be there, and were glad we could make it back.

Columbus and the CCEC became like our second home, last year.
Again, it was an emotional day, but was so good to be back. It felt like a home coming and we again immediately felt the love for us. Thanks so much to everyone.

Playing in the Snow!?

Back in early March, on our first 50 degree day, we headed out to enjoy the sunshine....and the last pile of snow!!!!

Happy Birthday to Aunt Laura, too!
