Another swimmer!

Cooper has wanted to jump off the diving board as soon as Grace did. Well, he finally did it...again, and again! He isn't tall enough to stand in the shallow end, so we are still on high alert when is in the pool without his floaties-but he can swim!

We have a swimmer!!

Down on the Farm

We spent Sunday down on the farm helping build the new Playground Compound. That's us diggin' holes, drinking milk shakes, and stayin' cool!

Oh, and Ben and Laura let me play with their new Rebel camera.... sigh.... love it!

Shelby's Facebook status last night...

Shelby Drake walked in on Cooper tonight, standing in front of the toilet with poop between his feet. He looked visibly distressed and said, "I missed!" ! It's gotta to be confusing; sit or stand? SIT OR STAND!?

Tim's Facebook status last night...

Great Day! Cooper took his first step toward manhood...he peed standing-up. Not only that- he did it in front of an audience including his sister who leaned in close to study the majestic event!

New Beds

Time will tell if this was a good idea or not, but so far, so good. We are loving the space in the play room, Cooper is staying in his bed, and they don't tend to wake each other up. We "sweetened" the deal with some cool wall stickers and they both have a sticker chart to keep track of staying in bed. We're holding our breath! :)

Our reading corner got some cool wall stickers, too!

Father's Day 2010

Camping... Drake style!

Sigh. Boys and fire.
Yummmm! S'mores!

Brownies!
Oh, and I finally got my gallery frames done and up for the kids to display their artwork! After 2 or more years of dreaming about this I was worried it wouldn't be as good as I hoped, but we love it!

The pool looks and feels great!!

Some one is in it almost every day!! All are welcome!!

Where did June go?

We went to see Grandpa on his LAST DAY OF SCHOOL....EVER. I think he is pretty excited to be retired; Not sure how my mom feels about it yet.

Grandpa let us pillage the lockers for treasure and here are the kids enjoying their loot! Colored pencils, sticky notes, notepads, binders, tennis balls, locker mirrors, and an orange scientific calculator!! We're hitting SHS next year on the day after!!

VBS... They really did have a good time!!!

I picked up this sand box from some one's trash!! It was in perfect shape and a very exciting find!
If the kids wouldn't make such a mess, I'd probably let them play in it more...

"No, those aren't your shoes."
