Random Summer Fun

Cooper Sleeping...
S'more time with Curless' before they headed home.
And they're not just ordinary s'mores at that! For a change of pace we like to try...
Cream cheese and blueberries, or strawberry jam and strawberries, OR use a Reese's PB cup! Awesome!

Or maybe just an ice cream cone with a marshmallow in it.. or just the cone!
Our new art easel.

We visited our friends Fran, Gene, and Anna for an afternoon. Good time!

Fun AT Ben and Laura's

At the end of the week that Monica was home we headed to Ben and Laura's for some more fun.

They have great stairs for the Slinky!

And we ALWAYS love the pool balls...

And ping pong balls! Look out!!

Grandma teaching Cooper how to play.

We headed outside to fly a kite.

And played in Riley's new house.

Not with Riley, of course!

Then they got the go carts out!!
Tim and Monica... Me... taking it slow....
Cooper wants some of that action!
Let me at it!
Grace didn't like the noise, but love the ride!

Just before we left, the kids got this close to Riley! Don't they look like they are enjoying themselves?!

Playing at the Park - Fun with Uncle Ben and Aunt Laura

Can you hear me now?

Cooper liked walking under these bars! How cute!

Cooper said, "What the?!"
Mommy said, "What the?!!?"

And an overnight trip to the farm for Grace and Aunt Monica meant they could play with all the LITTLE Leggos!!

Boys and Their Toys

Uncle Ben came down on Friday (after Brown County) to fly his plane and hang out with us and Monica. Cooper LOVED the plane and the car. Grace was mildly interested for a short time then found other things to keep her entertained.

Ben would run the car around Cooper and he would just turn in a circle to keep watching it! Dizzy baby!

Grace wanted to touch all the posts.
See what I mean. Other things. My the differences between boys and girls are amazing!

The kids did a good job watching the plane. The last flight was a little long, but we found out afterwards that there was trouble and Ben had to fly it till the fuel ran out and then glide it in for the landing. It was really pretty, but apparently he was sweating bullets (and quitely swearing)!!!
Also, another interruption here... Cooper said his first sentence this weekend..."Bye Bye, Ma Ma!" So cute! He loves to wave. And today he started saying "Baby". I think we are on the verge of a talking breakthrough! (He'll still be one of the kids that only his parents can understand, but we know he's talking!)
