The kids first ever ride!
I remember these!!!!
So cute!
And I remember the bells on these.

Trying new solar cover rings this year. The jury is still out.

New dress up clothes.
Lovin' the warm weather and our pool!

Memorial Day 2010.
Thanks to all who fought for us.

May Highlights, Part 2

Grace picked out the beautiful flowers for me for mother's day. They spoiled me!
My dear friend Helen sent me these T-shirts after my Facebook post....
Really? REALLY?!?! At three and a half I'm supposed to get the "You never let me do anything!" scream, stomp, stomp, stomp, and slam?!?!?!?
Breath in.... Breath out..... Remember..... :)

"Be patient. God's not finished with me yet."
Sending Tim off to DC with his Goodie Bad and Elmo!
Cooper was having FUN throwing his rag up in the air!!!!
Elmo and Mandi in DC.
Elmo and Tim on the subway. (Mommy's least favorite place.)

Elmo gettin' some love from Mandi and Tyson.
Elmo helping Tim play cards on the bus.... while waiting for the backup bus to come get them from the truckstop in Ohio!

Again this year the kids and I headed to Ohio to Cousin Amy's house to hang with them. It was way different this year as the kids entertained themselves really well!!!
Except at dinner time when EVERYONE wanted this ONE cup. Good times!
Such cuties.
Obviously they had a good time!

Gymnastics came to an end with an exhibition. Both kids did their routines very well and got medals for it. (Which have now become weapons, and have been put away for a while.) There is video and as soon as Tim is finished with his Master's NEXT WEEK! I'll ask him to get it on here.
I'm loving Grace's drawings these days!!!
Daddy:

Miss Jill with her baby in her belly:
Our new bike trailer! We tool around town in it often!

May Highlights, Part 1

So, as I downloaded VBS pictures last night, I realized I hadn't downloaded ANY pictures in May! We were busy, but too busy to post. So here goes....
Tea Party with Aunt Mandi during the garage sale. She was an awesome help with the kids while I wheeled and dealed away over $100 of our stuff!
If you water it.... dad will have to mow it.
"Again!"
We love our library card!
Baby doll pack-n-play

First corn on the cob of the season!
Yum!!!
"Bunny Up There!!!"
Everything becomes a projectile!

Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS

Tim and I taught the 3rd and 4th grade class at VBS this week. It was awesome! Grace and Cooper got to go to their class, too, and did a wonderful job! It was so fun seeing them learn and have fun without us. I loved getting their cute waves from across the sanctuary and high fives when we passed in the hallway! So proud of them!!!!

Click the link below to see us doing our theme song. Grace and Cooper are across the sanctuary somewhere in red, and, well, you'll see me and Tim!

Summer has arrived!

Spring Break will have to wait! I'll get caught up some time when there is slow Drake news. But for now....
Summer has arrived! The pool is open and reaching 80 degrees, the solar rings are on, the kids are skinny dipping at least twice a day, and Tim is home, what feels like, ALL THE TIME!
We celebrated with our first trip to Indiana Beach today. Free tickets from Grandma Patty, GREAT weather, no crowds or lines, and the kids had a blast on the kiddie rides!
We even rode a few "big people rides" as a family for the first time!

I call this one, "Oh, yes we did!!!"

More pictures to come of our day, and eventually Easter and spring pics!

Happy Easter

As I post these I realize I didn't take any pictures of the kids with their Easter baskets! If I recall correctly, I let Grace go get hers before I was out of bed, and then we did the Sunday morning rush, so I guess we just didn't have time!
Anyway, I was in the nursery that day and took my camera along. Such cuties!!
Grace likes to lead Ring Around the Rosies while we wait for the service to let out.
Photo shoot before we change for lunch!

Mom's centerpieces
Easter cupcakes!!!
Just the frosting, please!
Easter egg hunt on the farm. Each child has to find the eggs with the letters in their name.

And, finally, cookie decorating.

Next up: Spring Break
I HAVE to get these done before Summer Break starts NEXT THURSDAY!!
