A new year

Well, January came and went, and now we are just waiting for Mini-Too to arrive! I think we are almost ready - well, I'm definately ready to birth this baby! - but just have a few last minute things to prepare around the house! Due on the 9th of March, so just about a month left to go!
Grace is getting bigger and talking and signing up a storm! Just today she has started to say "OK" when I ask or tell her something! She also is getting very good at studying how we make our signs and copys many of them right on the first or second try.
She now sits in a booster seat at the table, which she can get into and buckle herself in by herself. Still can't get out, but we're working on it! You know Dad... got to learn the hard way! :)

Just enough hair for a teeny-tiny pony!

Grace has adjusted well to her new room. We moved the crib in there, so she'll continue to sleep there for AT LEAST 3 more months. Mini-Too gets the pack and play for now, and we'll decide later if we need another crib.

Grace and her "Gang".

We met some of the family at Pizza Hut for Great Aunt Margaret's birthday party. The girls (Anna and Allison, along with Grace) were in great form and they entertained us all!

Merry Christmas!

Apologies for taking so long to blog, but our computer has had some "issues". We think we have them fixed, and at any rate, it is working well enough tonight! So...
Christmas was a blast with Grace and she was a trooper with all the get-togethers. She lived on Cheese for two days, but recovered just fine. She loved being with all our families and friends and kind of got into opening presents. I can only imagine what next year will be like!

Great Grandpa with 5 of his 6 great grand kids, and two more on the way this spring!

Great Aunt Vicky got Grace a Tea set, which we love to play Tea Party with!
Grace has even learned to "cheers" you with her tea!

Great Aunt Mitzi and Great Uncle Bob always keep us decked out for the Colts!
We can say "Go Colts!" and she recognized the horse shoe, now!

Life size Elmo takes a ride on our new motorcycle from Uncle Ben and Aunt Laura!
We love Elmo!

We also love to crawl through our cool tunnel from Aunt Monica!

Pasko Christmas.
Cooper Christmas.

Also over the holidays...

We mastered our Surprise face!
Started piano lessons.

We got our bath tub fixed and started taking baths again.
Also, this is how we smile! Apparently we squint our eyes when we smile and that is what she picked up from us!

Took up photography.

Grace got Daddy's rocking chair and loves to sit in it!

We learned to dip our fries in catsup!
Licking is still the preferred way to eat,
but we usually learn to eat the fry, also!

We made a "Build-a-Bear" monkey for Mini-Too.
Meet Moot!

The Winter Ball

White's High School held a Winter Formal last night and Tim took me as his date!
We had a good time dancing and watching the students have a good time.
Look what Grace can do!
(Ok, put the last one on the top!!)

15 Months

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone and Grace continues to keep us busy! At 15 months old now she is quite the climber as well as talking and signing more. We've started time-outs as she likes to do what she wants! Here are some pictures of what we were up to last month!
Playing with Great Grandpa Gene and his cool toys.
Aunt Monica surprised us all by flying home for Thanksgiving!

Learning to sew with Grandma Patty.
(She will learn before I will!)

Grace is quite the helper around the house. She helped Dad put the backs on our new book cases and then helped us put the books on them!

She likes to stand in the front window and watch Dad do yard work.

And she is very good at getting up and down by herself!

Grace often falls asleep on the way home from morning errands, and I can bring her in, take off her coat and shoes, take a picture, and she still stays asleep!
