Almost every night we take a bath now.
Grace loves to splash have water poured over her head!
I can't wait to get her in the pool this summer.

We brush our tooth before bed too.

And then off to bed for the night!
Down at 7:30 and I'll see you at 7:00!

New tricks!!!!

Seven Months

Grace and Weeb at 7 months.
Grace is very good at sitting up now.
We really liked the 70 degree weather a couple of weeks ago!
Bring on summer!!!

And we are starting to get up on our knees!
Daddy is really good at helping to practice this skill!

Hanging out with Zoe and August!

We're doing pretty well with the spoon feeding so it's time to move on to doing it herself!

Joseph is a good helper around the house and with Grace.
David was busy writing his chapter book!

Who says girls can't wear blue?
Praise the Lord!!! Happy Easter!

Grace showing some love

Tim is learning how to post video, and this is the only one we
have downloaded from the camera. Aunt Monica got her
this monkey for Christmas and (as you can tell) she loved it!

Funny Faces

High Speed ROCKS!! It used to take me 3 minutes PER PICTURE to download to the blog, now each one takes less than 20 seconds!!! We have yet to get our camera phone working, so we can see and talk to Margaret, but hopefully that will work soon! It is getting more difficult to catch Grace smiling on camera, but that doesn't mean she doesn't make the best faces!!!

Our first tooth came in yesterday! That explains some things...

Oh those faces!

Attitude already?

We recently had the corner of our house raised and secured by helical piers. So now "we" can finish painting and get a new kitchen floor!

For those of you who recieved a St. Patrick's day card and the ACID FREE , SCRAPBOOKING GLUE DOTS (?!?!?) seeped through the picture, here it is again. If you would like a new one you can save and print this one or email me and I'll send you another one!

She also is getting good at holding her bottle herself and likes to suck on her toes for a snack!

Family portrait for church. Smile!

Uncle Ben wanted his picture with Grace in their Colt's hats on the blog, too!
Aren't they cute!?!

Five Months

Grace is 5 months now and we are loving it! She is quite skilled at rolling from front to back – it makes it hard to have tummy time! But, she is more comfortable on her front now and can play with toys that are within reach. She can go from back to front in her crib when she pulls on the mirror on the side, but has yet to do it on the floor. She also is starting to sit up for seconds on end. Tim and I are getting better at catching her before she face-plants! She has also discovered her feet! She is cute when she is all curled up and playing with them!
She and I met Monica in Indy for the AFC championship – Monica went to the game and we stayed in the hotel. I was the quietest fan in Indy that night! It was very exciting to be there and then for the Colts to go on to win the Super Bowl! And of course to see Aunt Monica! Also Grace got to go swimming for the first time. The water was too cold for me, but Grace didn’t seem to mind! She didn’t seem to enjoy it, but she didn’t object either! Aunt Monica got her that swimsuit for Christmas, so it was fitting that she take her swimming in it for the first time.
We started cereal today – she is such a big girl! She has started staring at us and drooling when we eat, so I figured it was time. She wore most of it and, having just discovered her tongue, spit much of it out, but it was fun to watch!
We stayed in most of the last week, so I am ready for the warm up! I’m looking forward to taking Grace for walks! Bring on spring! ~Shelby

Rolling around.
Go Colts!
Swimming with Aunt Monica.

It took three people to light all 25 candles on Ben's birthday cake!
That crafty wife of his, Laura, made a great Colt's cake for him!
And Ben had some trouble blowing them all out!
(If he is 25, that makes Monica and I ... oh my...)

Grace and Weeb at 5 months.

Grace likes to help Daddy with the crossword puzzle.
She's a genius!

Grace and her Valentine from Great Aunt Sue and Uncle Lee!
Tim finished the shower recently and we are very close
to finishing the rest of the bathroom!
