Spring Break 2011 cont...

Day 5: Stayed at home and enjoyed doing nothing but making the perfect train track! Made a quick trip to Wabash for chain saw supplies and ran to the farm to water plants. Ended with burgers and dogs on the grill. Relaxing day. :)

Day 6: Swimming at the Y with Baby Landon and Jill. Lunch with Grandpa and visit with Grandma. Church activities and then THE PERFECT FIRE AND COOKOUT complete with mini s'mores! Also in attendance was Grace's new bestie - Fossil Rocko. :)

"The Funnest Place on Earth!"

Monkey Joe's, according to Grace, anyway!

Spring Break 2011:

Day One - clear out the back forty and trim all plants down. Drag it all to the community burn pile. Repeatedly.

Day Two - Walmart, Kroger, New Market, and lunch at BK. Watch Basketball.

Day Three - Teach Sunday School, crash in the afternoon. Kids enjoy the warm weather outside!!

Day Four - Monkey Joe's and a quick trip to the Children's Museum. Planned for Ivanhoe's and Taylor bookstore, but will do that another day when there is no rain. In order to attend later festivities, Grace had to nap on the way home.... that was her way of not watching Cars the movie! Girls night at Brittney's Bead party - "Bummed out at home spring break? We'll have our own spring break beach party!" Grace dressed the part and I ordered a new watch band in grey in honor of my friend Jessica who had brain cancer. Can't wait to wear it!

(Thank you Tim.)

(You get a big enough booty, it makes your waist look small, though.)

Don't look now.... I'm caught up!!!!!!!

New Paints!

We got Cooper some new paint, paint cups, and brushes for his birthday. They love it!

Waiting....

We usually get a call from Tim when he is on his way home from school. This is where I found Grace after she took the most recent call. Can you tell how much we look forward to having daddy home?!

MOPS

We attend a local MOPS group a couple of times a month where we all wear name tags. Ever since Grace has mastered writing our names, she fills them out for us. I have to do a little editing for mine. :)

Birthday Boy

Early morning birthday party for our three year old! Chocolate chip pancakes and Cars!

Family birthday party on the weekend. The kids helped decorate by coloring Curious George pictures to put up. :) Grace made mini cupcakes with bananas on them and I made monkeys to hang around! And another big thanks to Grandma Patty for help with the awesome cake. Good times!

Happy Birthday to our "baby"! I can't believe he is three! It has been rather "fun" to experience "three" again. This time around I know what is going on and just chuckle as he announces "I will not eat any of this dinner!" (Moments later) "Thank you for dinner, Mommy, I love it." He is just trying to have some control over something in his day. Lot's of defiance, but we're staying consistent and letting him figure things out. Like, "We will have to get a new mommy and daddy when you die." A bit of a shocker, but we're loving seeing him figuring stuff (all be it weird stuff) out.
