Graduation 2011

Our babysitter, Brittany, (whom we don't get to use nearly as much as we would like!) graduated from high school this year! Grace wanted her to give her a picture of them to take with her to college, so we staged a couple shots for her. It was far too bright out for the last one to work, but (as always) stilled turned out cute! I love the out takes! (Well, later I usually do, at the time they are usually making me crazy.)

We have attended 10 of 11 open houses so far. (7 in two days to start with!) The last one is this weekend. Lot's of volley girls this year, plus we start adding students, now that Tim is at the high school with them. Congrats to all of them!

In a side note and a "we want to remember this", Cooper is very much in a " I will not do what you ask me. I will do the opposite - even to my own detriment" phase. (Gotta love 3!) That first weekend of receptions, Cooper disagreed with EVERYTHING we said. Going so far as to sit outside one house, by himself, for 10 minutes, refusing to go in. Or eat. At one point he yelled (in the van) I don't like music! I'm going to cover my ears!" One of those days, you just sit back and enjoy the show!

Girl's Night!

The Rigney Ladies joined us for some girl time tonight! We finally got to see Miss Remi in action (with her being a night owl and all!) and did some crafting. Grace spent an hour (!) making her castle and Remi now has a bow holder for her cool bows from Awesome Helen! Good times!!

I Love Tummy Time!

Nick is growing up! He played like this for quite a while this weekend and can sit up by himself! Won't be long till that boy is on the move!

Bows and Tomatoes

Grace somehow convinced her Great Uncle Mike to give her this HUGE potted, cherry tomato plant. (That girl is going to be an infomercial host someday.... she is very convincing!) She told me (rather enthusiastically) that she "wishes she could keep it right outside the door so she could just open the door and reach right out and pick one and eat it!" After we re potted it, she kissed it. Seriously. She. Loves. This. Plant. Thank you Uncle Mike and Aunt Sue - We do love tomatoes around here!!!

And our good friend Helen spoiled us yet again, sending Grace some really cute shirts and matching bows she made. Grace first matched up the bows with which shirts they would match, then put on this one and wore it for two days! Thank you Helen! We love bows AND fun shirts!

(Oh, and the box and tissue paper are STILL just as cool as the gift!)

Summer has arrived!!!

Practicing up for a big summer trip!!!

Sanity....

is a rainbow!

3x a day, 7 days a week.

It's just easier this way.
