Summer Time!!

The pool is open and a cool 78 degrees-Grace loves it though!

Randy, August, and Zoe came over for the first swim of the season last week. Zoe loves that she can touch in the shallow end this year, August found the water still a little cold and deep, Randy showed no fear, and Grace loved to splash around!

Last day of school for the boys - they were pretty excited, you can imagine!

I tried to take some pictures of the three of them, but with Grace now so mobile, she doesn't stay put very long! I thought the stick would be a good distration, but it really just turned into a weapon against the boys!

Happy Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was awesome!

We started off the weekend by surprising Mom and Dad with Monica flying in for the weekend! They were surprised to see her on Friday night and she and Grace had a blast all weekend!

Margaret's birthday was also on Sunday so we celebrated by going to church with her and hanging out all day. Tim made us lasagna for lunch and we went to Bob and Mitzi's for a fish fry for dinner. (Tim also made me cinimon rolls for breakfast, so I think I gained 10 pounds that day!)

With such nice weather I got to get out and take some pics of Grace in the grass - here is a nice shot of her teeth!

More 8 Months

Now that I have my camera back...

We have been hanging out with the Elliotts a lot since it has gotten nice out and those twins are quite the helpers!

Eight Months

Eight Months! We sure are enjoying this stage as Grace is beginning to explore the house and continues to learn new things each day! What's new...

We love swimming! We open our pool next Monday.

And I'm learning to balance on my own and fall backwards. What fun!

Tantrums...


Tim spent the weekend in Washington DC with 20 White's students and staff. We missed him, but managed. When I get my camera back from him, I'll have a few more pictures of Grace. She is learning to feed herself a bit and boy can she get messy!

Cousins

Cousins Amy and Ava came for a visit yesterday. The girls hit it off right away!

We took a walk to the park and the girls jabbered to each other on the way home!

In other news....

Grace got her second tooth yesterday! Two little ones on the bottom now.

And I officially resigned my teaching position today.

I had only taken a year, and I knew this was the plan all along,

but it still feels weird. A good weird, though! :)

Bed Time

Almost every night we take a bath now.

Grace loves to splash have water poured over her head!

I can't wait to get her in the pool this summer.

We brush our tooth before bed too.

And then off to bed for the night!

Down at 7:30 and I'll see you at 7:00!
