Oh my....

On September 24th a combine started a fire on the prairie. With extremely dry conditions and ridiculous winds of up to 40 mi/hr, it quickly got out of control and swept across the prairie, heading straight for the farm. (The white buildings in the tree line RIGHT where they were able to stop the fire.)

Every department in the county, along with some from neighboring counties, and several neighboring farmers came to fight it and ultimately saved the farm. We are extremely grateful to all who helped and give God all the glory that only half of the remaining crops were destroyed and no one was hurt!
